If you’ve been with us for a while, you know that the Latina Leadership Podcast has always been about one thing: creating spaces for our voices. For real conversations. For the stories that don’t always get told.
But here’s the thing we’ve learned along the way. A weekly episode just isn’t enough. There’s too much happening in our community. Too many events we’re showing up to. Too many lessons we’re learning between recordings. Too many moments that deserve to be captured but don’t fit inside an episode.
So we decided to build a new space. A place where the conversation keeps going. A place where we can show you what happens when the mic is off.
Welcome to La Plática.
What is La Plática?
If you’re Latina, you already know the word. La plática is that conversation that goes on forever. The one that starts in space and transitions to another space. The one where you laugh, you cry, you vent, you dream, and by the end, you’ve said things you didn’t even know you were holding.
That’s what we want this space to feel like. A never-ending conversation between amigas.
This blog is where we’ll go deeper. Where we’ll share what we’re learning, what we’re watching, who we’re meeting, and what’s breaking our hearts or filling them back up. It’s where Las Patronas will take you behind the scenes of our adventures. Where we’ll break down the news that actually matters to our families. Where we’ll talk about money, mental health, culture, and career without the filter of a recording light.

We organized La Plática around seven themes that reflect what matters most to our community:
En El Evento – We’re always somewhere. Conferences, markets, community gatherings, art openings. If there’s something happening, we’re probably there, and we’re bringing you with us.

La Plática is new. It’s going to grow, shift, and evolve just like we do. But the heart of it will always be the same: real conversations, no filters, and a community that shows up for each other.
