Latina Leadership Podcast

Edna Mancia

I’m the Account Lead and Co-host of the Latina Leadership Podcast! Born in Los Angeles and raised in the vibrant city of Houston, I’m a proud first-generation American passionate about growth, mental health advocacy, and empowering others. I believe in the power of self-love, balance, and a positive mindset, and I’m committed to being a resource for my community.

Growing up, my household was filled with both love and struggle. Many things didn’t come easily, and while my family tried their best, we often navigated difficult and unhealthy emotional experiences. Instead of letting those moments define me, I used them as fuel to break cycles, to aim higher, and to become more than what society might have expected of me. Creativity became my outlet and I discovered early on that storytelling has the power to heal, connect, and create change.

Even though I dreamed of one day becoming the first Latina President of the United States, the next Selena, or that I got into an Ivy League law school my life took a drastic turn. It had such a profound impact on me growing up, that I now want to use the skillset I attained pursuing my degree to hold space for marginalized groups in the community and enable them to feel brave enough to share their story.

That passion led me to opportunities I never imagined, working on crime documentaries, collaborating with marketing agencies, partnering with video production companies, creating content, and even stepping into acting. Each experience taught me the value of perspective, resilience, and intentional storytelling. Now, with the Latina Leadership Podcast, I have the privilege of connecting with inspiring mujeres from all walks of life. Each conversation is an opportunity to inspire, educate, and encourage listeners as they pursue their own journeys in entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal growth.
