Why I Created the Latina Entrepreneurship Conference—and Why You Belong in the Room, Amigas!

By Anjelica Cazares

Dear Comunidad,

When I launched the Latina Leadership Podcast, I was simply following a spark: a desire to hear more of our stories—the real, raw, resilient journeys of Latinas building businesses, leading movements, and betting on themselves.

But something incredible happened: women started writing in from all over the country, from Houston to Chicago to as far away as Minneapolis. They weren’t just listening. They were hungry—for connection, for strategy, for tools, and for a space that truly saw them.

That’s how the Latina Entrepreneurship Conference was born.

We are now preparing for our third year, and the mission hasn’t changed—it’s only grown more urgent.

This is not just an event. It’s a homecoming for Latina founders, side-hustlers, CEOs, creatives, and change-makers who are tired of being underestimated—and ready to be undeniable.

We are gathering on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in the heart of Houston at the George R.

Brown Convention Center for a day of:

  • Powerful panels led by Latina leaders, tech innovators, and seasoned business experts
  • Workshops that can help you turn dreams into revenue and goals into game plans
  • Community that will hug you, hype you, and hold you accountable

We are not waiting for permission. We are building the tables—and setting them with room for all of us.

When you attend this conference, you’re not just investing in yourself. You’re supporting the entire Latina entrepreneurship ecosystem. You’re showing funders, brands, and policymakers that we are here, we are building, and we are not going anywhere.

Whether you’re dreaming of your first product or scaling your seventh-figure business, I want you to be in that room with us. Because juntas we are stepping in.

Let’s make history—together.

Con cariño y compromiso,

Anjelica Cazares, Founder of the Annual Latina Entrepreneurship Conference
